On Sunday, a couple of members tackled The Beast, which, as its name implies, is a tough trail run on Table Mountain with options for 50 Km and 30 Km.
Juan Carstens was 9th overall and won the 30-34 AG in the 50 Km event. Darren Behrendt was second in the 35-39 AG and Jeannine Ruffles was second in the 50+ AG.
In the 30 Km event, Allan Benn (50+) and Julikia Pahl (18-24) won their Age Groups with Julika winning the ladies race overall. Morne Voster was 3rd in the 40-44 AG and Rozanne Groen second in the 25-29 AG.
