Future Events:

Knysna Big 5
This year’s Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival, taking place from 1 to 10 July, will once again see multisport enthusiasts come together to take on the BIG5 Sport Challenge, which consists of the BIG5, BIG5 Lite and BIG5 Club Champs.

With the event being so popular there is a limited field of 125 entries for the BIG5 and 125 entries for the BIG5 Lite.  The BIG5 Club Champs will see the best athletes from the biggest clubs across the country competing against each other for the title of BIG5 Sport Challenge Club Champion.  ATC is the reigning club champ and we hope to retain the title this year.

All the clubs with 15 or more entries will have the opportunity to fly their colours at the Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival by raising their club flags in the BIG5 Sport Challenge hospitality area on the festival grounds.  Here athletes can unwind after their races and enjoy the variety of food, drinks and entertainment the Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival has to offer.

If you enter before the 1st of June, the fee is R 2 400 for the BIG5 and R 2 300 for the BIG5 LITE.  After this date, the fee will increase to R 3 600 and R 3 450, respectively.  To enter, please visit:  https://big5sportchallenge.com/

Relay against Racism
On Saturday, the 28th of May, Cycle of Life, a Cape Town based social marketing company will be hosting the Relay against Racism family orientated fun walk at the Green Point Athletics Stadium.  Although the campaign aims to heighten awareness around a very serious issue affecting all of us, racism, it also aims to bring families of all walks of life together in an effort to just have fun and celebrate that which binds us a community and country.  For more details, please visit:  http://www.relayagainstracism.co.za/
