29 Mar '17: ATC NEWS
Published by ATC Multisport on Wed, 29 Mar 2017Six SA Champs – Ironman SA – Two Oceans Training
NEWS:
Once again, this month’s newsletter is packed with results from the past month and this time we have no less than six SA Champs!
Congratulations to all the mountain bikers who finished another gruelling Cape Epic, which took its toll as early as day two with many teams not making it, prompting organisers to ease off a bit on the 3rd day. Undoubtedly, many more tough days followed with the queen stage only happening on the penultimate day. We have not been able to download all the results and will report in more detail in next month’s newsletter.
The Triathletes will show their stuff this coming weekend at Ironman African Champs in Port Elizabeth whilst the runners get ready to taper for Two Oceans Ultra over Easter.

The testing provides detailed information, such as, an individual's capacity to utilize fat for fuel at various training intensities, or how much sodium an individual loses in sweat. This information can be used to create specific nutrition and hydration strategies for individuals.
