Main beach, Langebaan
Distances:
The 1.6km swim will follow a course from Langebaan main beach across to Schaapen Island and then adjacent to the island for approximately 800m with a turn point marked by a bouy. Swimmers will then follow the same course back again to the finish on main beach.
The flagship 3.2 km swim will cross from Langebaan main beach to a bouy at Schaapen Island. Participants will then swim around the island until they reach the same bouy, then swim back to the finish on main beach.

School Teams: 4 swimmers from the same school
Entry and Registration:
At Pearly’s Restaurant, Main beach Langebaan
Friday 13th from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm, Saturday 14th 7.15 to 8.30 am
Entry Fee:
R100 individual / R200 for school team.
All entrants must sign an indemnity form at registration.
Race Briefing:
Will take place on the beach 15 minutes before the start of the race. Attendance is compulsory for all entrants.
Prizegiving:
will take place on the beach in front of Pearly’s Restaurant at 12h00
Safety:
Will be provided by Big Bay Event Management, Brightly coloured swimming caps compulsory (not provided)
