The Cape Town Marathon doubled as the ATC Club Championships for the Marathon distance running event. The basic rule is that the first ATC male and female, licensed through ATC, in ATC Running gear, to finish will be crowned the ATC Male and Female Champ, respectively. With the staggered start used in this year’s event, we looked at the mat-to-mat finish times to determine the winner.

The Boland 100 Miler offered a great opportunity for members training for Ironman Africa Champs or the Double Century, to get some miles in a supported race environment. The day was hot and windy and the route ended on top of the Du Toits Kloof Pass, a beautiful but brutal 20 Km climb, made even more gruelling as it started at 140 Km into the ride.
